Golden straw yellow.
Fresh herb, lime zest and ripe passion-fruit.
Gooseberry and tropical fruits are supported by a denser mid-palate from ageing on the lees. The excellent concentration provides a lengthy and persistence finish.
Shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, fish, chicken, asparagus, salads or simply as an aperitif.
Fruit hand harvested from our Rapuara Vineyard, fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks after gentle pressing. We have used the best strains of yeast most suited to the distinctive aromatics of Marlborough Sauvignon. Lees aging prior to bottling has developed mid-palate weight adding to the wine’s intense fruit characters.
