"Dark ruby. Aromas of ripe red and blue fruits, lavender and baking spices, plus a hint of smokiness in the background. Appealingly sweet and seamless on the palate, offering juicy black raspberry, cherry cola and floral pastille flavors that firm up slowly on the back half. A long, smooth finish shows very good clarity, discreet tannins and recurring spiciness."

"A youthful red with stacks of supple tannins that needs a bit more time for the fruit aromas to fully unfurl. Neither too dry nor with any trace of overripeness to upset the balance. Nice freshness on the clean finish. Better from 2019 and should be good through at least 2024."

"(aged for four months in new and used French oak barrels) Opaque ruby. Dark berry preserve, licorice and floral scents are enlivened by a peppery element and a hint of dusty minerals. Sweet, smoke-tinged boysenberry, cherry compote and violet pastille flavors show an appealing blend of depth and energy. Supple tannins shape the long, smooth finish, which leaves a smoky blue fruit note behind."
