This rose is a blend of Tempranillo and Syrah. It is made using a combination of direct pressing and the saignee method and vinified in stainless steel tanks. The juice is then allowed to ferment alone at a low temperature (18 to 20°C) to preserve the maximum amount of aroma.

"This Jumilla rosado delivers as expected, with punchy, juicy, fruity and spicy watermelon, raspberry and cherry fruits, ample spice and a deeper, shining hue. This is tempranillo based, with a dose of syrah (for spice) and a bump of sugar (for commercial appeal). Thankfully, alcohol is moderate, as is acidity, holding this welcoming for an ice bucket and spicy prawns, or red-pepper grilled pasta/veg."

"Full-bodied Spanish dry rose has been reinvented and this is a good example. With more freshness, it is brighter than these wines used to be a generation ago. Where is the paella? Drink now or in 2018."

"I'll admit that the glitzy label tricked me into thinking this would be sweet. I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. And even though it hails from the sultry reaches of southern Spain, alcohol is kept in check (12.5%). A blend of Tempranillo and Syrah, it possesses lovely nuances of melon, raspberry and wild thyme. Made for grazing on simple tapas."
