The history of Prosecco Valdo began in 1926, when a group of enterprising winemakers from Valdobbiadene joined forces and created the Società Anonima Vini Superiori: a company principally devoted to sparkling wine production of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze.

Valdo's history dates to 1926 and is marked by constant, steady attention to quality and authenticity and allegiance to its district. Valdobbiadene is a picturesque town in the Veneto region, just below the foothills of the Italian Alps. Its cool climate and hillside vineyards are ideal for growing grapes that make crisply refreshing sparkling wines. The Prosecco di Valdobbiadene appellation is widely recognized for making wines of outstanding character.

Manual harvest in the middle of September. Soft pressing with fermentation at controlled temperature at 18°C, followed by 3-month Charmat ageing and 3 months in the bottle.
