The history of Prosecco Valdo began in 1926, when a group of enterprising winemakers from Valdobbiadene joined forces and created the Società Anonima Vini Superiori: a company principally devoted to sparkling wine production of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze.

Daenna van Mulligen, Winescores.ca, May/2017

"Spritzy, floral, fruity. Made from Prosecco's classic Glera grape, this fresh bubbly has pretty aromas of golden apples, apricot, white peach, acacia blossoms, almond oil and lemon meringue. Persistent medium-sized bubbles add creaminess; it is drier in style, and lemony, with plenty of crunchy orchard fruit flavours. A lovely spritzy fizz. Pair with fish and chips, egg-based brunches, antipasti or mildly spicy dishes."

Best Value "Crisp and fresh Italian sparkling wine with a dry, refreshing finish. Great price. Pair with shellfish."

Gismondi on Wine, Oct/2017

"We have tasted this numerous times and confirm the quality is consistently good. It’s an extra dry (sweetish) Prosecco from Valdobbiadene DOCG located in the classico or heartland of the region. There is a welcomed freshness that restrains the extra dry, residual sugar style (from 12-17 g/l RS) without changing the impression of candied pears, juicy peaches, white flowers and the classic candy necklace flavours of your youth. A fun aperitif you can sip solo or serve with a spicy sushi roll."

Sara d'Amato, Wine Align, Jun/2017

"This DOCG Prosecco typically falls on the sweeter end of Brut. Quite fresh with a great deal of lush flavour and excellent concentration. Notes of ginger, cucumber and rose linger pleasantly on the finish. Memorable. Tasted June 2017."

20 Under $20 in BC: February 2016. "Candied grapefruit acidity manages the sugar fairly well in this extra dry style (from 12-17 g/l RS), leaving an impression of sugared pear, candy apple, juicy peach, white flowers and candy necklace."
